Airbnb Poaches Blackstone CFO on Path to IPO

Airbnb, the vacation rentals startup, announced Friday that it hired Laurence Tosi away from Blackstone  to join the company as chief financial officer. The hiring of Tosi, who spent seven years as CFO at the private equity firm, could be a signal that the $25.5 billion startup is nearing an IPO.
