Disney announced Wednesday it’s expanding layoffs to include some 32,000 employees expected to be let go by the first half of 2021, as the theme park industry, in particular, takes a hit with limited capacity and closures as the coronavirus pandemic will likely drag into the new year.  

On Monday, rail company Brightline announced it has made an agreement with Walt Disney World Resort to make a train station at Disney Springs, which connects to the Disney theme parks.
