FDA hand sanitizer recall widens to over 100 products

The FDA's continuously-updated list, which began in June when the regulator observed an increase in hand sanitizers that purportedly contained ethanol but tested positive for methanol contamination. 

FDA expands hand sanitizer recall to over 70 products

The list started in June when the agency observed an increase in hand sanitizers that allegedly contained ethanol but tested positive for methanol contamination which the FDA says is "not an acceptable active ingredient for hand sanitizers and must not be used due to its toxic effects." 

Ford recalls nearly 26K vehicles in North America

The recall covers select 2016-2020 Lincoln MKX models, Nautilus vehicles with 16-way power seats, 2021 Ford F-650 and F-750 vehicles with 7.3-liter engines as well as select 2020 Ford Escape and Transit models.
