United passengers flying “the largest premium route in the world" are getting a new perk this week.

Boeing CEO Dennis Muilenburg is in the hot seat on Capitol Hill Tuesday and Wednesday.

Muilenburg will outline key actions Boeing is taking to improve as a company.

On the anniversary of the first crash of a Boeing 737 Max, the CEO will begin two days of testimony before Congress by telling lawmakers that the aircraft company knows it made mistakes and is throwing everything into fixing the plane.

The 2016 messages suggest the company may have misled the FAA on the safety of the new plane.

The tests will be conducted in a Boeing simulator in Seattle.

The subpoenas will be issued to the two biggest U.S. operators of the jet over the next couple of days, the lawyers separately told Reuters.

The Max jets were grounded in March after being involved in two crashes within a five-month period.
