Attorney Ben Crump and Reverend Al Sharpton have called for Kroger to be charged alongside the security firm and 54-year-old security guard Gregory Livingston for Motley Jr.'s death.
"Our hearts go out to the families of the victims, our associates, customers and the first responders who have responded heroically to this tragic situation," Stop & Shop told FOX Business in a statement on Tuesday. "At this time, we are cooperating fully with local law enforcement on the investigation. The store will remain closed until further notice, and we appreciate the Long Island community's support during this difficult time."
FedEx has pledged $1 million towards the Indianapolis 4/15 Survivors Fund, which will provide direct financial assistance to the families of the eight victims killed, as well as several others injured or suffering psychological trauma, as a result of the April 15 shooting at the company's Ground-Plainfield Operations Center at 8951 Mirabel Road in Indianapolis.
