Beware, shrimp allergy sufferers: A company is issuing a voluntary recall of some sauces over undeclared shrimp allergens, which can cause a serious or even life-threatening allergic reaction in those who have allergies or sensitivities to shrimp. 

Dole Fresh Vegetables is recalling two lots of a chopped salad kit over the possibility of undeclared allergens in the dressing and topping kit included with the packaging.

The company says the investment is "timely" due to the ongoing threat of the coronavirus pandemic and subsequent economic recession.

Fresh cut, imported basil is facing a recall over concerns it’s contaminated with cyclospora, a microscopic parasite that can cause an intestinal infection called cyclosporiasis if ingested.
