Varney: Trump stands at the height of his power after impeachment

'He has clearly shown that a political party that is motivated by hatred will lose'

One day after being acquitted of impeachment charges, President Trump stands at the height of his power, FOX Business’ Stuart Varney argued in his latest “My Take.”

Nancy Pelosi, the ‘squad’ and the rest of the livid left threw everything at him and lost,” Varney said.

President Trump won the “ridiculous” impeachment fight, according to Varney. He argued that it was a waste of time, achieving nothing while sliming both the president and the country itself.

The president won on the economy, his tax cuts have given us prosperity. Tuesday night, he laid out the ever-growing list of economic successes and the democrats sat on their hands,” Varney said.

They remained seated as Trump noted his record-low minority unemployment and record employment for women, according to Varney. They looked glum in the face of prosperity, desiring huge tax increases, he said.

“The president has won on immigration. He’s cut the flow of illegals, the wall is being built [and] we are getting a handle on a problem that’s been around for two generations and the Democrats? They are actually going into this election demanding open borders,” Varney said.

Most importantly, he argued, Trump has “beaten back the hate mongers.”

“He has clearly shown that a political party that is motivated by hatred will lose. That’s all they had. The enduring image will be Speaker Pelosi ripping up the long list of the President’s successes… the president rides high,” Varney concluded.
