Kylie Jenner, whose estimated worth hovers around $1 billion, according to estimates by Forbes, was first exposed to the spotlight when her family debuted their reality television series "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" on E!
Jenner was only 10 years old when she was propelled into the public eye. Since then, much has changed for Jenner, who harnessed her family's fame to create a makeup empire that propelled her to the coveted billionaires list by Forbes.
At 21 years old, the mogul was dubbed the youngest self-made billionaire by the outlet.
Growing up a socialite, she quickly became quite a notable figure on social media with over tens of millions of followers across multiple channels.
In 2015, the then 17-year-old was named one of the most influential teens by Time magazine for the second year in a row.
"I know how influential I am over my fans and followers," Jenner told the outlet in a 2015 interview. "I feel like everything I do, my hair color, my makeup, I always start these huge trends, and I don’t even realize what I’m capable of."
That same year the star used her influence on social media for a good cause in launching an anti-bullying campaign. The #IAmMoreThan initiative was an effort by the mogul to bring awareness to bullying. Jenner has been open about her struggles with bullying in the past and "wanted to give other people with real stories an opportunity" to share their experiences, the star said during a 2016 interview.
In 2015, Jenner began her makeup venture, Kylie Cosmetics, first selling lip kits for roughly $30 apiece, Forbes reported. Her line became so successful she started branching out to create a wide variety of makeup products that are now sold online and in Ulta stores nationwide in the years following their debut.
In 2019, she ventured into skin care with her line, Kylie Skin.
Jenner, daughter of Caitlyn Jenner, former Olympics decathlon winner Bruce Jenner, and Kris Jenner, was born into a prodigious family.
The 22-year-old has an older sister, model Kendall Jenner, and several half-siblings who have gone on to expand their own brands from creating clothing lines to spin-off TV shows. Her half-siblings include Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Rob Kardashian, all of whom were a result of her mom's first marriage to defense attorney Robert Kardashian.
Kylie Jenner also has two stepbrothers, Brody and Brandon Jenner, from her father's previous marriage with Linda Thompson.
In 2017, Kylie Jenner began dating up-and-coming rapper Travis Scott, who was best known for his RIAA platinum albums “Rodeo” and “Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight” at the time. Eleven months into the relationship, the couple welcomed their firstborn child, Stormi Webster, to the world.
