Grain mostly lower on the CBOT, beef lower and pork higher on the CME
CHICAGO – Grain futures were mostly lower in early trading Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery fell .50 cent to $5.0460 a bushel; December corn was 1 cent lower at $3.7620 a bushel; December oats lost 3.50 cents to $2.22 a bushel; while November soybeans lost 14.50 cents to 8.7460 a bushel.
Beef lower and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle was .80 cent lower at $1.4305 a pound; October feeder cattle was 3.08 cents lower at $1.9640 a pound; October lean hogs gained 1 cent to $.6383 a pound.
