Grain mostly higher on the CBOT, beef mixed, pork higher on the CME
CHICAGO – Grain futures were mostly higher Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for September delivery was 3 cents lower to $5.7240 a bushel; September corn was 3 cents higher at $4.3740 a bushel; December oats were unchanged at $2.6960 bushel; while November soybeans was unchanged at 10.2260 cents a bushel.
Beef was mixedr and pork higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
August live cattle was .70 cent lower at $1.4678 a pound; August feeder cattle was 1.25 cents higher at $2.1250 a pound; August lean hogs gained .25 cent to $.7368 a pound.
