Grain lower on the CBOT, cattle lower and pork higher on the CME

Grain futures were lower Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec delivery was 2.25 cents lower at $5.1475 a bushel; Dec corn was 3.75 cents lower at $3.4850 a bushel; Dec oats were unchanged at $3.47 a bushel; while Nov soybeans lost 9.50 cents at $9.57 a bushel.

Beef lower and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Dec live cattle was .30 cent lower $1.6500 pound; Nov feeder cattle was 1.65 cents lower at 2.3550 a pound; Dec lean hogs gained 0.13 cents to $.9045 a pound.
