Grain lower on the CBOT, beef lower and pork mostly lower on the CME
CHICAGO – Grain futures were lower Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for July delivery was unchanged at $5.0125 a bushel; July corn was 6.75 cents lower at $3.70 a bushel; July oats were unchanged at $2.5550 a bushel; while July soybeans was 7 cents lower at 9.73 a bushel.
Beef was lower and pork was mostly lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
June live cattle was .12 cent lower at $1.4890 a pound; August feeder cattle was unchanged at $2.1295 a pound; June lean hogs was .38 cent higher at $.7870 a pound.
