Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick selling $19M New York townhouse: Report

Celebrity couple reportedly selling via 'whisper' listing

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick are reportedly looking to sell their New York City townhouse for $19 million.

The celebrity couple’s townhouse on Charles Street in the West Village is being offered for sale through an off-market “whisper” listing, the New York Post reported, citing unnamed sources.

The home’s ground floor features at least two fireplaces, built-in bookshelves, crown molding and arched doorways between rooms, as can be seen in a 2014 interview Parker shot with Vogue.

The actors, who’ve been married to each other since 1997, paid just shy of $3 million for the home in 2000 and have since heavily renovated inside, according to the report.

Parker is best known as the star of HBO’s “Sex and the City,” while Broderick is known for movies like “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” and “The Producers.”

City real estate records show the couple bought a new home on West 11th Street in 2016. Their new home, which was reportedly being renovated, is actually two side-by-side townhouses that they combined into one.

The couple paid $34.5 million for the properties through a trust in 2016, the records show.

For anyone interested in joining the couple in their new block, one of the properties next door went up for sale last year at $28.6 million, Curbed reported. The listing now shows the 8,500-square-foot home is off-market, but city property records don’t show that it’s changed hands since then.
