Planters halted the #RIPeanut marketing around the ad after the death of NBA legend Kobe Bryant
Planters resurrected Mr. Peanut in a Super Bowl ad after "killing off" the mascot ahead of the big game.
The ad shows Mr. Clean, Kool Aid Man and others at a funeral.
"Mr. Peanut, he spent his life bringing people together," a man says.
Then a tear falls from Kool Aid Man's eye, and a baby version of Mr. Peanut emerges from the dirt.
