Tokyo Elec: Water Pumping Resumed at Crippled Reactors
Tokyo Electric Power Co (TEPCO) said a magnitude 7.1 earthquake that struck northeast Japan on Monday briefly stopped the offsite power used to pump water to cool the crippled No. 1, 2 and 3 reactors at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear complex.
The utility later said pumping had resumed. (Reporting by Yoko Kubota; Editing by Edmund Klamann)
