WWE star Glenn ‘Kane’ Jacobs welcomes tax exodus to Knox County, Tennessee

Glenn Jacobs, the former WWE star known as Kane, says President Trump helped to secure his win in the Knox County, Tennessee, Republican mayoral primary.

“The Trump effect is in full force all across the country in every level in government,” he told FOX Business’ Stuart Varney on “Varney & Co,” on Friday. “People are sick and tired of career politicians.”

Meanwhile, New York investment firm AllianceBernstein recently announced it would relocate to Nashville in order to cut costs.

Jacobs hopes Knox County can also reap the benefits of other companies fleeing high-tax states.

“I think we are seeing it all across the Southeast. It just goes to prove that small government and low taxes work -- the work for economic growth,” he said. “Our challenge here in Knox County is to make sure we can take advantage that that movement and some of those companies coming to Knox County.

He added: “We’d sure like to have you”
