Trump tariff much bigger than beer: manufacturer CEO

President Donald Trump's tariffs will create economic headwinds, according to John Hayes, CEO of Ball Corp. one of the largest global metal product manufacturers.

"It's a much bigger issue than beer," Hayes said to FOX Business' Maria Bartiromo on "Mornings with Maria."

The impact on beer, soda companies and the auto indistry, which use steel and aluminum in many of their products, "ultimately will hit the consumer,"  Hayes said.

"I've heard statistics that say this could cost the consumer $9 to $10 billion of disposable income," he said.

Hayes also warned  the benefits of the tax plan and rollback in regulations could be erased.
