President Donald Trump said on Thursday he “likes” top economic adviser Gary Cohn, and that he might come back to the White House.
Trump’s comments were made during a meeting with his cabinet amid a tumultuous time at the White House.
Gary Cohn announced his resignation on Tuesday after opposing Trump’s proposed tariffs on steel and aluminum imports.
During a White House press briefing on Wednesday, Press Secretary Sarah Sanders hinted at Cohn’s reappearance in another capacity.
“I’m not closing the door,” she told reporters.
