SRA Awarded $72.9M Contract from DEA for System Support

SRA International Inc. (NYSE:SRX), a provider of technology and strategic consulting services to the federal government, announced Monday it has been awarded a $72.9 million contract by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration DEA to continue supporting the agencys Firebird infrastructure.

The Firebird infrastructure is a comprehensive system that utilizes cutting-edge technology to facilitate lab testing and program design. The system will allow the SRA to support the DEAs mission of law enforcement by improving capabilities to maintain security.

The SRA specializes is investigation, diversion control, forensics, and intelligence.

The Firebird Infrastructure Technology Services Contract II is a second win for SRA and includes a five-year base period with five one-year options.
