Sheriff Clarke: Black on Black Crime is a Bigger Threat Than Any Officer
The 15-year-old daughter of U.S. Olympic sprinter Tyson Gay was fatally shot in Kentucky on Sunday. A bullet struck her in the neck during an exchange of fire between two vehicles in a restaurant parking lot.
Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke joined the FOX Business Network’s Varney & Co. to discuss the incident and inner city crime.
“My first question is where is Black Lives Matter in this? Where is the President in this? Who’s saying anything about this disgraceful happening here?” Varney asked.
“This is a daily occurrence in the American ghetto all across America… It doesn’t fit the ugly narrative of the cop hating slime Black Lives Matter and that’s why you don’t hear anything about it… It’s a black on black crime, it’s a bigger threat in the American ghetto than any police officer will ever be,” answered Sheriff Clarke.
On Sunday FBI Director James Comey commented on the police shooting epidemic, saying the lack of statistics are leading people to believe that “biased police are killing men at epidemic rates.”
Clarke responded, “It a ridiculous statement by Director Comey… The liberal mainstream media has shown sympathy for this ugly movement and they have become the platform for which these myths… propaganda and lies are being told about the American police officer.”
