Rep. Issa on Clinton Case: I Suspect There Will be More Hearings
Representative Darrell Issa (R-CA) says he believes more hearings could be on the horizon following the latest revelations in the Hillary Clinton email controversy.
“Hopefully the hearings though are going to be about permanent changes in the law that make this more clearly defined as illegal,” Issa told the FOX Business Network. “Just a few months ago we expanded the Freedom of Information Act—this President signed it. That’s going to change the speed of discovery and that’s important.”
FBI Director James Comey announced on Friday the agency would be reopening its investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server while she served as Secretary of State.
With the election only one a week away, Issa said it’s up to voters to determine the country’s future.
“One of the important things about this revelation is that voters are reminded that this is a long pattern of wrongdoing by the Clintons and this is just one more reminder that a life with the Clintons was not easy, was not honest, it was not transparent and Hillary Clinton is clearly going to take America and her personal agenda in the wrong direction,” he said.
