Obama: High Gas Prices Drag on the Economy
President Barack Obama on Friday said high gasoline prices are eating away at workers' paychecks, calling it a head-wind on U.S. economic activity.
Obama was speaking to workers at a plant in Indianapolis that will start making hybrid auto transmissions in 2013 in order to promote his energy policy aimed at weaning Americans from dependence on foreign sources of oil.
