Miss America's Outstanding Teen Concerned About America's Debt
Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Allie Nault might only be 18 years old, but she is not impressed by the candidates’ lack of interest in the nation’s $19 trillion ballooning debt.
“It’s going to affect me, it’s going to affect our teen generation,” she said during an interview with the FOX Business Network’s Neil Cavuto.
Nault used Bernie Sanders as an example of why she’s not satisfied with his debt plan.
“If he’s proposing that $18 trillion for these huge plans, but he’s not going to address how he is going to take care of the now $19 trillion we already owe, that’s a problem for me,” she said.
When asked which candidate gave her the best answer she said, “Marco Rubio probably gave me the most detailed response. Six minutes of an answer, I think that’s huge saying that other candidates only took a minute with me of their time.”
