Casey Anthony Sentenced to 4 Years, But Could Be Out Soon

A Florida judge on Thursday sentenced Casey Anthony to four years in jail for lying to police, but said after credit for the nearly three years she already served she could be out of jail by late this month or early August.

Casey, 25, was acquitted on Tuesday of killing her 2-year-old daughter Caylee in 2008 but was convicted of four misdemeanor counts for lying to police during the investigation.

Each of the counts carried a maximum possible sentence of one year in jail.
