Wrong Tax Information Sent To 800,000 HealthCare.gov Customers

About 800,000 HealthCare.gov customers got tax forms from the government with incorrect information, a Treasury Department spokesperson said Friday. The errors were on 1095-A forms that HealthCare.gov sent to consumers who get coverage through the federal insurance marketplace. Treasury said those who have not filed taxes should wait to do so until they have received a corrected form. Treasury said corrected forms will go out in early March.
