White House Distances Itself From Slur Against Netanyahu

The White House on Wednesday said comments from an unnamed administration official about Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "do not reflect" the Obama administration's position or President Barack Obama's views. In an article published in the Atlantic, the unnamed official appeared, using barnyard terminology, to accuse the prime minister of cowardice. White House spokesman Josh Earnest said he didn't know who made the comments.
