Grain futures were mostly lower Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery was off 7.25 cents to $4.79 a bushel; December corn fell 1.25 cents to 3.6750 a bushel; December oats were up .50 cent to 2.2450 a bushel; while November soybeans were unchanged at $8.74 a bushel.

Beef was mixed and pork higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. October live cattle was off .10 cent to $1.4122 a pound; October feeder cattle gained .98 cent to $1.9630 a pound; while October lean hogs rose 1.80 cents to $.6977 a pound.
