Wheat, corn, oats, and soybeans higher; beef and pork lower on the CME.

Grain futures were higher Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Mar delivery surged 25.25 cents to $6.485 a bushel; Mar corn was up 2.25 cents to 4.0825 a bushel; Mar oats rose a penny to $3.15 a bushel; while Mar soybeans gained 4 cents to $10.3525 bushel.

Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Feb live cattle was off 2.93 cents to $1.5582 a pound; Jan feeder cattle was 3 cents lower at $2.1660 a pound; while Feb lean hogs fell 1.20 cents to $.8047 a pound.
