Warren Buffett entertains shareholders with humorous movie at start of annual meeting
Billionaire Warren Buffett again proved that he doesn't take himself too seriously in the humorous movie that starts the Berkshire Hathaway annual meeting.
Berkshire took a famous scene from Dustin Hoffman's "The Graduate" when the main character gets career advice and dubbed in new lines as if Hoffman was portraying a young Buffett.
Instead of Hoffman's character being urged to consider a career in plastics, the fictional Buffett was told: "One word: Geico."
In real life, Buffett later bought all of Geico, and today it is a major part of Berkshire's insurance unit.
Buffett also devoted part of the video to interviews with some of his early staff members about major events in Berkshire's history. This year marks 50 years since Buffett took control of Berkshire Hathaway.
