U.S. Will Not Relent In Efforts To Stop Russia In Ukraine: Obama
The United States will continue to ratchet up the costs on Russia for its intervention in Ukraine "and will not relent," President Barack Obama said Monday. At a joint press conference with German Chancellor Angel Merkel, Obama said the U.S. is mulling whether to provide lethal defensive weapons to Ukraine if diplomacy fails, but added that no final decision had been made. Merkel said she and French President Francois Hollande were planning to "make one further attempt" this week to bring about a ceasefire and find a diplomatic solution to the crisis.
