U.S. Auto Sales In May Were Strongest In Nearly 10 Years

U.S. car and light truck sales reached a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 17.79 million in May, up from 16.5 million in April, according to Autodata. According to separately tabulated data from Haver Analytics, that's the highest rate since July 2005.
