Trade Votes May Fail As Pelosi Rebuffs Obama's Personal Appeal
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said Friday she will vote against a worker-training bill if it slows down "fast track" authority sought by President Barack Obama. The House is planning to vote first on a bill to aid workers who lose their jobs due to trade agreements. If it fails, Republicans have said they won't hold a vote on the "fast track" authority sought by Obama. Obama lobbied Democrats to vote for both on Friday morning.
