The 5 Least Inspiring CEOs in America

I'm sure more than a few readers have had to deal with a bad boss. But you can thank your lucky stars that you didn't have one of these five CEOs.

Using data from the website Glassdoor.com -- which collects anonymous reviews of companies and their chief executives from employees -- I came up with a list of the five least inspiring CEOs in America. The list is not exhaustive, and I may have missed a few names. But after spending a week scouring the site, these were the five that stuck out the most.

In order to qualify, the CEO in question had to have at least 50 reviews and had to be the head of a publicly traded company. Unsurprisingly, the companies that these CEOs lead have underperformed the S&P 500 (including dividends) by over 65 percentage points over the last three years.

Without further ado, here they are, with all ratings accurate as of August 10, 2015.
