Martin Salia, a doctor and an Ebola patient who was admitted on Saturday to the Nebraska Medical Center after a medical evacuation from Sierra Leone, was in critical condition early Sunday, according to media reports, citing the hospital. A Sierra Leone native and a U.S. permanent resident, Salia is the 10th person to be treated for Ebola in the U.S., The Wall Street Journal reported. The medical center, one of the four U.S. facilities equipped to treat patients with severe infectious diseases, successfully treated two other Ebola patients in September and October, according to the Journal.
