Study: 10 private university chiefs topped $2M in 2015

A study by The Chronicle of Higher Education found that average pay for private university presidents increased 9 percent in 2015, to nearly $570,000. Ten presidents received more than $2 million in total earnings, up from eight in 2014. Compensation figures include yearly salaries, medical insurance, bonuses and other benefits.
