Sometimes Boring is Good

Wall Street had a pretty boring week, with most of the fireworks coming Monday and Tuesday. With action like that, it’s important to keep the big picture in mind.  There, I simply see a solid uptrend.

Speaking of boring, I wanted to focus on two stocks I own, both considered boring…and profitable. The first is Chevron (NYSE:CVX).  I recommended selling a few weeks ago as the stock had become overbought.  As it approaches the uptrend line, however, I’d add it back to your portfolio.

As for Walt Disney (NYSE:DIS), there is no need to do anything fancy.  I just have it sitting in my account for years and years.  It sometimes disappoints, but never for long.
