Snowstorm Closes D.C.-area Federal Government Offices Tuesday

Federal government offices in Washington, D.C. are closed Tuesday after a snowstorm dumped between four to six inches of snow on the area overnight. The closure applies to federal offices in the D.C. area, the U.S. Office of Personnel Management said. Major school systems in the region are also closed.
