Shelly Sterling says justice is served with $2.6M ruling against woman who did husband wrong

Shelly Sterling says she feels vindicated in her legal victory against a woman her husband lavished with gifts.

Sterling told The Associated Press on Wednesday that she feels justice was served in the $2.6 million ruling against V. Stiviano.

A judge ordered the younger woman to turn over keys to a $1.8 million house and about $800,000 in cash that was community property the Sterlings accumulated over 60 years of marriage.

The court win was somewhat bittersweet, coming nearly a year after Stiviano's recording of Donald Sterling making racially insensitive remarks cost him ownership of the LA Clippers.

Shelly Sterling, a billionaire, says she didn't sue for money but for justice after being harmed in so many ways. She says she'll give the money to charity.

Stiviano plans to appeal.
