Senate Vote Clears Way For Iran Nuclear Deal

Senate Democrats blocked a Republican resolution on Thursday that would have rejected the nuclear deal with Iran. The vote in the Senate means that the deal will take effect without President Barack Obama having to use his veto pen. The agreement lifts sanctions on Iran in exchange for curbs on its nuclear program.
