Sen. Reid Breaks Facial Bones, Ribs In Workout Accident

Sen. Harry Reid of Nevada broke "a number of ribs and bones in his face" after a piece of exercise equipment he was using malfunctioned, his office said Friday. Reid, who will be minority leader when the next Senate convenes, was treated at University Medical Center in Las Vegas. Reid's doctors expect a full recovery, the senator's office said, and he plans to return to Washington this weekend.
