Regis Corp. (RGS) on Thursday reported a loss of $19.1 million in its fiscal second quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Minneapolis-based company said it had a loss of 35 cents. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 16 cents per share.

The owner of hair salon chains Supercuts and MasterCuts posted revenue of $455.9 million in the period.

Regis shares have declined 4 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen 34 percent in the last 12 months.
