Eli Lilly & Co. fell $.69 or 1.0 percent, to $70.89.

Hospira fell $.37 or .4 percent, to $87.24.

Johnson & Johnson fell $.50 or .5 percent, to $100.58.

Merck fell $.50 or .9 percent, to $57.10.

Pfizer fell $.68 or 1.9 percent, to $34.59.
