Patriots Won't Appeal NFL Penalty For 'Deflategate': Owner Kraft
New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft announced Tuesday that the organization will not appeal the NFL's punishment for its role in the use of an underinflated football during a lopsided playoff victory over the Indianapolis Colts early this year. He declined to take questions from the assembled media, citing a desire to see the franchise move beyond the controversy, popularly dubbed "Deflategate." The Patriots were fined $1 million over the incident, and quarterback Tom Brady, who has appealed his league punishment, was suspended for four games.
