Oops! Park Electrochemical Inadvertently Mails '09 Earnings

Park Electrochemical (NYSE:PKE) said Monday that it inadvertently mailed to registered stockholders its third-quarter earnings release from the year-earlier period, though its digital copy disseminated by the media last week was correct and remains unchanged.The Melville, NY-based global advanced materials company reported last Wednesday a worse-than-expected 30% drop in net income of $5 million for the period ended Nov. 28, hurt by charges related to a business closure.The company, which manufactures high-technology digital and RF/microwave printed circuit materials for the telecommunications and Internet infrastructure markets, posted sales of $46.9 million, up about 2% from the same quarter last year, but missing average analyst estimates polled by Thomson Reuters of $47.4 million.
