One Of Escaped New York Inmates Killed By Police: Reports

Richard Matt, one of the two inmates who escaped from a high-security prison in upstate New York in early June, has been shot and killed by police, according to media reports. The inmates have been on the run from police since their escape, while two prison employees have been charged with aiding the prison break. CNN said law-enforcement officials were chasing the second convict. Evidence from a hunting cabin in the woods 15 miles from the prison was said to be the break in the search for the inmates.
