Obama Calls Senate Vote 'victory' For Diplomacy, Security And Safety

In a statement, President Barack Obama called the U.S. Senate's decision not to proceed to a vote on the Iran deal a victory for "diplomacy, for American national security, and for the safety and security of the world." Obama said his administration will focus on the critical work of implementing and verifying this deal so that Iran cannot pursue a nuclear weapon.
