Obama Authorizes Sending Extra 1,500 Troops To Iraq
President Barack Obama has authorized sending an extra 1,500 U.S. troops to Iraq, reports said Friday. The troops will not serve in combat but will train and advise the Iraqi military as it combats the terror group ISIS. Obama is asking Congress for more than $5 billion to help fund the campaign against the group, the Associated Press said.
