New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is canceling his trip to a popular snowmobiling destination because of the lack of snow.

But with little or no snow in the region, Cuomo has called off those plans.

Lewis County contains part of the Tug Hill Plateau, a region popular with snowmobilers because it's typically New York's snowiest area.

Forecasts call for lake-effect snow showers starting Tuesday night and lasting into the weekend.
