NBC Ends Relationship With Donald Trump Over 'derogatory Statements'

NBC Universal, a unit of Comcast , said Monday it will sever its ties with Donald Trump in the wake of "derogatory statements" he made regarding immigrants. In a statement, the network said the annual Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants will no longer air on NBC. The pageants are part of a joint venture between NBC and Trump. Trump, who is running for the Republican presidential nomination, said Mexicans who cross into the U.S. are rapists and bring drugs and crime.
