Nasdaq Sets July 24 Date For Nasdaq Futures Launch

Nasdaq OMX Group Inc. is set to officially launch Nasdaq Futures Inc. (NFX) on July 24, according to a recent letter issued to Nasdaq clients. Nasdaq announced back in March that it planned to launch a new energy futures market, with futures and options based on key energy benchmarks, including crude oil and natural gas. The market will compete against the Intercontinental Exchange Inc. and CME Group Inc. , the two largest U.S. energy exchange operators.
